August 8, 2004 - Lake Sawyer, WA

Thought I should post a page letting you know we're still alive and kicking.  We're back in our old stomping grounds.....we lived near here before we went full time.  That means we're busy as we can be visiting friends, and taking care of multiple Doctor appointments.  Sort of like the 100,000 mile checkup rather than just a lube and oil.

Our health is generally good, we're just making sure it stays that way.  I'm "working" most weekends by renting tables at local gun shows, emptying my safe that has been stored at a friends house for 7 years now.  Trading one set of toys for another is the way we're looking at it.  Already bought new lens for the camera and a metal detector.

We have some great pictures from the Grand Teton National Park as well as the Life On Wheels conference we attended, and as time allows we'll post them.  I'm really anxious to empty all the slide trays (carousels) we have so I can digitize them and send them to the appropriate family members, and that's a time consuming project as well.  Our little storage locker is located near here, and we want to have as much vacant space in there as we can.

Also, it's getting close to fair time, and as you know, we're (Barb particularly) big fans of county and state fairs.

So, all's well, we're just running around more than staying home.........
