September 13, 2004 - Puyallup, WA
It's raining and the wind is blowing and it's in the high 50's outside. Maybe we're staying a little too long in the Pacific Northwest. But it's worth it. A fellow we love is dying of cancer and we got the chance to tell him goodbye, we're getting the 100,000 mile check-ups done with the medical profession, and some visiting with friends we used to work and play with when we lived in this area.
It's unusual for us to endorse products we're not using ourselves except for the occasional mention of son Doug's business and his website. But doing unusual things is part of this great lifestyle, so here goes. Friends Frank and Susie (remember them from Las Vegas?) are selling their motorhome and going to change their lifestyle. In some respects, it's sad, and in other respects, it's not. Appropriate changes in their lifestyle to accommodate their needs is part of life. And since we know Frank and Susie pretty well, and have spent many happy hours in and around their motorhome, we're more than willing to endorse it without reservation. If we were going to be living in a house with a foundation and wanted to buy a motorhome for occasional use and have another couple own and use it too, this couple would be among the first we'd think of. Why? Because Frank is a worse neatnik than I am, and Susie is just as fussy with the interior as Barb is with ours. Whenever anything in "my" domain begins to hiccup, or make unusual sounds, or change performance, I'm on it like a duck on a June bug. Nothing on our rigs (or homes) has ever needed attention and not had it. And upgrades? Gimme a break!! You know I love gadgets and "useful" changes in the status quo, and so does Frank. Making things pretty is Susie's forte, and making Frank make things the way she wants them is too. So, with all that, here's what they're selling. (Sorry I don't have a picture or two yet. If they still have it by the time we catch up with them in a couple of months, I'll post this again.)

"We were told it books out between I think it was $88,000 and $108,000 depending
on condition. So we decided $98 was fair and in the middle. We saw some
advertised anywhere between $105 and $139,000! So we are below them."
Feel free to contact Frank & Susie directly, or e-mail us with any questions you might have.
