What a tragedy our country has suffered.....and what a thrill to see the unity and resolve of her people.  It is particularly encouraging to see a renewed interest in the Spiritual, and to have so many of our leaders referring to God and Jesus Christ.  May it continue and bring the fruit of restoring this country of ours to the values upon which it was founded.  And with that, I'll go on to the more mundane things of our life.  May God bless you all as He has Barb and me.

What fun to be with "old" friends Bill and Carol for breakfast.  Carol had surgery (successful) while we were here, and when I went to visit I couldn't help but include a picture of Mt. Rainier from the parking lot of the hospital.  Mt. Rainier was one of our favorite views when we lived here in Seattle, Mercer Island, Bellevue, Bothell, Federal Way and Auburn, WA.

Well, we've been in some crowded parks before, but this is a lot tighter than we like.  And there are no facilities for e-mail.  And only 2 washers and dryers for the 73 sites.  But it's close to Federal Way where we have our little storage locker, the dentist and doctors.  Barb and I will be visiting ex-coworkers and neighbors we used to live near and all that while we're here.

And because in this membership system we have to move every 2 weeks, we shifted from space 19 to space 28.  And it isn't nearly as close.  We can put out our awning and not smack the unit next to us or a tree.  On the right is a shot of the sales office and main rec. building.  American flags on both.

I'm standing between the lake and the main rec. building.  On the left is the little island with fishing pier, and on the right you can see the tables being set up for a wedding reception.  Like so many of these membership parks, they are open to use for various functions.  Behind the tables, you can see one of the cabins for rent as well.

In these pictures I'm standing by the fishing pier.  On the left is a small island where there are several private homes.  On the right, lily pads and some rental boats.

On the left are the three rental cabins, and on the right you can see the chairs set up for the wedding, with the main rec. building up the hill from them.

On the left is another shot of Lake Sawyer which this little RV park is named after, and on the right is a special present for a special friend.  Bill Mast and I have talked many times about going varmint hunting.  We have rifles built especially for the sport, but we never did manage to get our lives organized enough to actually go hunting.  But while Barb and I were in Florida, we learned to be "scat scouts", so naturally once we were on the road again, we continued to see "stuff" lying around.  And while walking through a prairie dog town guess what!  Yup, I scouted some scat, and will give this to Bill tomorrow just to show him that I was actually around some varmints, and they sent their regards.

Barb and I offer our prayers for your comfort during these stressful times.
