Yellowstone Part IV:
Hey! Looky there! Those are the stairs we went down on the other side of the canyon. And those little white dots are crazy people going either up or down. And the dot in the right-hand picture is somebody at the bottom, about where I took the picture of where I'm standing now. That's pretty impressive, don't you think? What truly amazes me is that somebody actually went to the trouble to put them up there so we could get such fantastic views. Yellowstone truly is beautiful.
Oh, yeah. The top of the falls. Mustn't forget that. And wouldn't you celebrate surviving all this in one day? Barb counted 9 or 10 switchbacks in that little 3/8 of a mile trail. I wasn't counting anything but my blessings.
Not sure exactly where this sign was on the trail, but it was on one of those switchbacks. And the moon made an impressive appearance to end an impressive day. We treated ourselves to a prime rib dinner at the main lodge..... buffet style. hummmmm. Still, it was a nice atmosphere.
